The Laguna Beach alum and The Hills: New Beginnings star Jason Wahler and Ashley Slack want to have another baby. After living as a family of three for the past two years, the couple is ready to expand, hoping to start sooner rather than later.
Wahler and Slack married in 2013 and gave birth to their first daughter, Delilah two years later. The Laguna Beach alum recently spoke with Us Weekly on September 7 about having another baby while he was attending a SeaChange Summer Party which benefitted Oceana. Slack also confirmed that she was on the same page as her husband regarding having more children. Even though having another child would mean losing sleep and the ability to go out with friends, the couple seems more than ready for the adventure ahead when the time comes. It’s all about making memories for the young couple.
When their daughter Delilah celebrated her 2nd birthday this past August the proud father shared a touching tribute on his Instagram, wishing her a happy birthday, still in disbelief that his daughter was two, asking where the time has gone. The reality star said that the birth of his daughter had brought immense joy to his life. The famous toddler has had many playdates with fellow cast member’s children as well, from Frankie Delgado’s daughter, Isabella, Heidi Montag’s son, Gunner, and, of course, Audrina Patridge’s daughter, Kirra. The MTV children are not booked for appearances on The Hills: New Beginnings but could quite possibly have a career lined up for them as the next generation of reality stars once they turn 18. Wahler had said in a previous interview that Delilah had seen some episodes of The Hills; when watching, the toddler reached out toward the tv saying “mama and dada.” The California couple admitted that they are limiting what their daughter watches on the show, as some of the content could be too inappropriate.
While most The Hills: New Beginnings fans are aware that Wahler suffered from an alcohol addiction that he struggled with for ten years and after a string of arrests, Wahler wanted to fix his life. Fans may not know that Wahler recently met up with Lauren Conrad and apologized for their past relationship. Part of his process for recovery was to make amends with Conrad, helping both to move on with their lives.
Thanks to the reboot of the MTV show, all the cast members get a second chance at making better decisions and hopefully better impressions of one another. Since returning to the show, Wahler has dedicated his life to helping others like him stay sober and addiction-free, bringing hope to those who might feel there is no hope at all.
