Creative community organization CounterPulse is hosting Block Fest @ Home – with artist activators teaching free workshops. This Friday, join Tenderloin treasure, “The Kiteman” Jeff Marshall, as he shows us how to make a classic diamond-shaped flyer. There is something so satisfying about getting that kite to take flight and watching it soar, especially when you make it yourself. Blockeley Music Festival

When the graduating class at UC Berkeley found out that they wouldn’t have a commencement ceremony, some of them took matters into their own hands. Using the Minecraft platform, they recreated the entire Berkeley campus block by block and will be hosting a virtual ceremony with all the pomp and circumstance. You can’t graduate without a proper party, so they are also throwing a music festival featuring some of the best DJ’s and electronic music artists from around the country – all are welcome. // Free to Attend.
