Kingdom Hearts 3’s new Re:Mind DLC came with lots of little additions, including the new Challenging and Easy Adventure modes. Accessed through a New Game or New Game+, players can pick and choose different abilities to either help or hinder the game in many fun ways. Kingdom Hearts 3 is already a fun and exciting game, the addition of these codes lets a player customize the game to their will.

Whenever a player starts a New Game or a New Game+ they will guide Sora on an adventure to choose his path. After the initial two choices, players will be presented with a third choice to make. They may choose the usual adventure, which changed nothing and stays the standard Kingdom Hearts 3 adventure. The other two choices are between an easy adventure and a challenging adventure. Either one of these will trigger their respective menus. Below we list the choices for either adventure and what they change.

Easy Adventure in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC

Choosing an “Easy Adventure” will give the player access to EZ Codes. As the name implies these codes are designed to make the game easier. These codes can be used to go through the Critical Mode of the game but will disable trophies. You can, however, still obtain the Oathkeeper through this method.

  • Deadly Blow: Enemies are defeated with one hit. Certain bosses are immune to this effect. Auto-block: As long as the player isn’t attacking, enemy attacks are automatically blocked. HP Regen: HP automatically regenerates. MP Regen: MP automatically regenerates. Focus Regen: The Focus Gauge automatically recharges. Form Change: The Formchange Gauge gradually increases over time. Attraction Pass: Attraction indicators appear more often. Best Combination: Team commands appear more often in battle. Overflow: The Rage Form command appears more often in battle. Everlink: Summon Links last for much longer. AP Free: The AP cost of all abilities is reduced to 0. Survival: Strength and Magic stats are tripled for both allies and enemies. Cooking Master: Players will always earn an Excellent rating when cooking with Little Chef. Shop Discount: All shop items are half price. Gummi Ship Meister: The gummi ship level is set to 99, and all gummi ship items will be set to max.

Challenging Adventure in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC

Choosing Challenging Mode will allow players access to the PRO Codes. These codes can be combined to make the main game much harder.

  • Default Status: Team stats are set to their initial default status, regardless of level. Zero Defense: The entire team’s Defense is set to 0. HP Slip: The entire team’s HP automatically decreases over time during battle. MP Slip: The entire team’s MP automatically decreases over time during battle. No Shotlock: The player cannot use Shotlocks. No Cure: The entire team cannot use Cure magic. No Battle Items: The entire team cannot use items during battle. No Links: The player cannot use links. No Formchanges/Grand Magic: Formchange and Grand Magic can no longer be used. No Attractions: Attraction commands no longer appear. (Certain special battles still allow Attractions) No Team Attacks: Team Attacks no longer appear. (Certain special battles still allow Team Attacks) No Kupo Coins: Kupo Coins have no effect. Ability Limit: A maximum limit of 30 is placed on abilities installed on Sora

Merits in Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC

Merits are bonus objectives that are obtainable throughout the main story mode. They act as in-game achievements that a player can attempt to complete.

  • Aerial Challenge: Defeat 13 enemies in the air without landing. Rage Form Challenge: Defeat 20 Shadows at one time using Rage Form. Link Challenge: Use any Link Summon to defeat 77 enemies at one time. Icebreaker Challenge: Freeze and shatter 30 enemies in one battle. Gigas Challenge: Use any attraction to defeat 5 Gigas toys at one time. Sky Walk Challenge: Travel from the tower in the forest to the Kingdom of Corona without walking on the ground. Sora may land on the ground up to 5 times. Schwarzgeist Challenge: Clear the Schwarzgeist in Misty Stream with an A ranking. Bowling Challenge: Defeat 10 enemies at one time using the Scream Strike team attack. Survival Challenge: Clear a 2 Star Difficulty Battlegate while only having the code “Survival” on from the EX Codes menu.
